From June 11 to 14, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Kunshan, Fan Jianqing led a delegation to Vietnam, celebrating the 75th anniversary of China-Vietnam diplomatic ties and reinforcing Kunshan’s integration into the Belt and Road Initiative. The group hosted a China-Vietnam business forum focused on industrial cooperation and supply chain synergy.

The delegation visited local branches of major Kunshan-based companies, including Compal, Luxshare, InfoVision Optoelectronics, MPT Solution, Ways Electron and Feiliks International Logistics, to understand their operations and encourage further investment and resource sharing.

They also visited Trung Nguyen Legend, a leading Vietnamese coffee brand, exploring opportunities to collaborate in green bean storage, product development, and retail expansion to support Kunshan’s vision of becoming an “Capital of The International Coffee Industry.”

From June 15 to 17, Mayor Fan led the delegation to Saudi Arabia to deepen economic and trade ties. The visit included an investment forum with representatives from key Kunshan companies such as Aerospace Times Feipeng, Arctech, Visionox, and others. Mayor Fan emphasized Kunshan’s alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and highlighted opportunities in industrial development, investment, infrastructure, and market expansion.

The Kunshan-Gulf Countries Joint Innovation Center was officially launched to promote bilateral investment and innovation. Several major cooperation agreements were signed, including projects in commercial operations, coffee industry investment funds, and renewable energy components. The delegation also visited Saudi government agencies, investment firms, and major enterprises to promote Kunshan’s industrial strengths and business environment.
