Eligibility: A foreign national working in Kunshan or his families who need to stay in China longer than the period of his or her residence permit due to humanitarian reasons.

Required application materials:

1. One completed Visa /Stay Permit /Residence Permit Application Form;

2. One color identification photo (taken within 6 months, with a white background, in 2 inches, and bareheaded);

3. The original and photocopies of the applicant’s valid passport, visa and other related document;

4. A valid registration form for temporary residence of foreigners;

5. An official application letter issued by the applicant’s former employer and a photocopy of the registration certificate of the employer;

6. Certification of resignation;

7. Any additional application materials requested by visa authorities based on specific circumstances.
