DEER Immigration Affairs Service Center is the first county-level immigration service center in Jiangsu province. As Kunshan is also named as Deer City, the word “DEER” is used and interpreted as “Devoted, Exclusive, Efficient, and Responsive”, representing the meanings of “loyal to the people, tailored service provided, convenient and efficient service offered, and responsive to people’s needs.” While providing efficient and integrated services for local citizens, business people, and enterprises, the center also holds cultural, folk exchange, and policy promotion activities. Besides, it is served as a platform for foreign high-level talents, international students, overseas Chinese, and Taiwanese compatriots to engage in cross-cultural exchanges.
